Principal's Message

 

Dear Fairlands Community,

I am writing with tremendous excitement and enthusiasm as I continue serving as the proud principal of Fairlands Elementary School. Every day, I am inspired by the incredible engagement our students demonstrate in their learning and by the unwavering dedication our staff shows to our school community. At Fairlands, we are united by a common purpose: to support every student academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to thrive.

My career in public education began in the Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) in 1995. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching students across all elementary grade levels as both a general education classroom teacher and an English Language Development Specialist. Prior to becoming an administrator, I served as an instructional coach for four years, supporting students and teachers across all nine PUSD elementary schools. Since 2017, I have had the honor of serving as an administrator at Fairlands, and I continue to feel incredibly grateful to be part of this exceptional school community.

On a personal note, I am the proud mother of two wonderful daughters who both attended PUSD schools and are now thriving in their careers. Outside of school, I enjoy home decorating, reading, traveling, and listening to music.

I look forward to continuing to build meaningful relationships with our students and families as we work together to help every child succeed. I encourage you to become involved in our school community by joining the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), attending school events and Principal's Coffees, or participating in committees such as the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) or School Site Council (SSC).

Please know that my door is always open. I welcome your questions, ideas, and feedback as we partner to provide the very best educational experience for our students. Together, we can make a lasting difference and help every Fairlands student continue to FLY HIGH!
