Principal's Message

Dear Fairlands Community,

I am writing to you tremendous excitement and enthusiasm and am honored to be serving as Fairlands’ principal. I’m in constant awe of the levels of the engagement our students display in the classrooms and the dedication our staff members have to our community. Our Fairlands staff is a team with a united purpose to support students academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.

My public school employment began in Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) in 1995. I have taught all levels of elementary school as a general education classroom or as an English Language Development Specialist. I was an instructional coach for four years prior to becoming vice principal, offering support to students and teachers across all nine Pleasanton Unified elementary schools.

On a personal note, I have two beautiful daughters who attended school in PUSD and are now pursuing their college degrees. In my time outside of Fairlands, my interests include home decorating, reading, traveling, and music.

I look forward to continuing to build connections with students and their families so our students can succeed. I encourage you to get involved with the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), school events, Principal’s Coffees, and committees such as the English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) or School Site Council (SSC). Please reach out to me with any questions, suggestions, or concerns. Together, we can make a huge difference to our students and help them FLY HIGH!
